Had so much fun hanging out with Meredith & Cameron in Waco for their engagement photos and can't wait to shoot their wedding in Big Bend! When I asked them what most excited them about the wedding Cameron looked at Meredith and told me, "honestly, just to be married already."

I met Josh just last year and got to know him better after assisting him with a wedding in the farmlands of Central Texas. He's doing awesome things with photography (check out his work at joshmorgancreative.com) and Ashley, his wife has jumped on board with him! I really admire these two. This shoot was a good experience for all of us. I think photographers agree it's good to get in front of the camera for a change and remember what it feels like to be shot (it can be shockingly uncomfortable!), and it was fun for me to collaborate with their vision for photos that represent their personality & brand.
Emily and Tyler-what can I say about these two? They got married last April on a happy, cloudy day. I've known Emily since I was a wee little Freshman at Baylor. Since that fateful day, she's never stopped pouring into me-loving and fighting for me. I'm so grateful for her! It's been so cool to see her and Tyler serve and love people during their time living and working in Waco. In August these two are moving to an area near Nepal to do missions. I'm going to miss them dearly, but I'm so inspired by their trust and love for God!
I met Elisa my freshman year at Baylor. Since then, we've worked at camp together, shared a room, road-tripped, camped and ran the Bearathon together.
Elisa is generous, patient and wonderful to talk with. I've grown to appreciate the fact that she's my complete opposite, and through our friendship I've learned a lot about myself and others. I appreciate the fact that she takes time to think before she speaks, loves people through quiet acts of service, and is faithful to always keep her word. It's been an honor to share life with her.
A few days ago Elisa left Waco and will be doing a four year International Development graduate school program at Denver University. I'm going to miss going knowing I can ride my bike to Lula Jane's with her, but I'm so proud of her for pursing the dreams God has given her.
Paige and I met in 7th grade and have been friends ever since. We've experienced middle school, high school and college together; shared awkward stages and supported each other through life's ups and downs. She's kind of like my third sister--especially because we steal each other's clothes and food and we show up in each other's rooms unannounced. Paige is the kindest, most quirky and adorable souls you will ever meet. For example, one of her favorite places to eat is Luby's and she's one of the few people I know who would pass up a real meal for a bowl of Blue Bell any day.
Also, shout out to Paige for being my little model through my years of photography. Check out the high school senior portraits I took for her four years ago: here and here We've both grown a lot since then. ;)
I shot some portraits for my friend Sam. We explored some new areas downtown and found some cool spots. I would have never assumed a parking garage hallway could have such awesome lighting!
Sam is awesome and I am so interested to see where he's at in five years. He loves people so well and has the unique gift to turn some of the most shambly and random situations into hilarious, wonderful memories.
This past week I had the pleasure of shooting Yuli! She's incredibly fun, laid back and kind (also, she goes to The Yoga Bar every single day--that's dedication ;) ).
Yuli is graduating with accounting and about to head to Houston for a big girl job. For the time being it was fun to scale rocks in Cameron Park and run around Baylor's campus with her. Thanks for letting me hang out and shoot your pictures Yuli!
I took my friend Priscilla's senior pictures on Easter weekend. I always hate the drive from Houston to Waco, so it was awesome once I was in Waco to pick up Priscilla and hit a bluebonnet field.
Priscilla is such a supportive and hilarious friend. I am so excited for her and her future at grad school!
