I met Josh just last year and got to know him better after assisting him with a wedding in the farmlands of Central Texas. He's doing awesome things with photography (check out his work at joshmorgancreative.com) and Ashley, his wife has jumped on board with him! I really admire these two. This shoot was a good experience for all of us. I think photographers agree it's good to get in front of the camera for a change and remember what it feels like to be shot (it can be shockingly uncomfortable!), and it was fun for me to collaborate with their vision for photos that represent their personality & brand.
I grew up down the street from Kaylee, so it's so fun to see her getting married to an amazing guy. Loved getting to hang out with these two in Waco and can’t wait for their wedding!
Emily and Tyler-what can I say about these two? They got married last April on a happy, cloudy day. I've known Emily since I was a wee little Freshman at Baylor. Since that fateful day, she's never stopped pouring into me-loving and fighting for me. I'm so grateful for her! It's been so cool to see her and Tyler serve and love people during their time living and working in Waco. In August these two are moving to an area near Nepal to do missions. I'm going to miss them dearly, but I'm so inspired by their trust and love for God!
I've gotten the pleasure to live with this dreamer for the past year. Carissa is a gem. She has the most gentle presence and cares deeply for her friends and family.
She dreams to end injustices, and to see people filled with hope. While in Waco, Carissa was an ambassador for the coolest jewelry company: Noonday. The company helps create business opportunities for women in the developing world. And In a few weeks Carissa is moving to Manila, the capital of the Philippines! For a year she will be living in Manila and interning with International Justice Mission. I'm inspired by Carissa's courage and her desire to follow God.
Sarah is energetic, hilarious and doesn't take herself too seriously. On the norm, Sarah can be found juggling a million different responsibilities, slightly in shambles, and laughing the whole time. Grateful I'm going to be in Waco with her next year :)
I shot some portraits for my friend Sam. We explored some new areas downtown and found some cool spots. I would have never assumed a parking garage hallway could have such awesome lighting!
Sam is awesome and I am so interested to see where he's at in five years. He loves people so well and has the unique gift to turn some of the most shambly and random situations into hilarious, wonderful memories.
